Before entering Parliament, she gained professional experience in the financial and railway sectors, which further strengthened her strategic vision for the future of European mobility.

Rookmaker's connection with Nevomo dates back to September 2023, when she participated in the unveiling of Nevomo's groundbreaking achievement: the successful levitation of a railway vehicle on existing tracks using MagRail technology.

In her new role at Nevomo, Rookmaker will lead the company's public affairs strategy, engaging with European institutions and stakeholders to promote the adoption of innovative, sustainable rail solutions.
